And in no particular order:
-
Tom served as a 2nd Lt., 1st Lt., and Captain in the United States Marine Corps; leading men and learning leadership with one of the storied organizations in history.
-
He led a successful career in media sales and was on both great sales teams and lousy ones, distilling the best aspects of leadership and human behavior from a tough profession.
-
Tom studied and sat in ceremony with Ecuadorian Shaman in the Andes Mountains and Amazon jungle, and gone deep into the teachings of David Deida, Carlos Casteneda, Joseph Campbell, John Perkins and many others.
-
He contemplated the Zen Koan Who Is In? at an Ashram in India and completed the first Shift Men’s Initiation in CA.
-
Tom explored his mortality after a diagnosis of Aplastic Anemia, a potentially fatal blood disease. Spent a full month in isolation in Sloan Kettering Hospital undergoing a bone-marrow transplant. And documented the ordeal and recovery.
-
And now he is a husband, father and Men’s Coach living in Nyack, NY.
